Hi everyone!

My name is Ashlyn Kay and I am the department of education Occupational therapist for the Bowen region and I have the privilege to work at BSS every Monday. My role is supporting students access, participate and achieve in their school based “occupations” which can include being a learner, playing with friends, self care skills such as toileting and basically EVERYTHING in between. If your child has been referred for school OT support, you will receive a consent form to sign. My role is not to provide one on one therapy, but to work collaboratively with students classroom teachers and support staff to build their capability when working with students.
