Congratulations Whitsunday Athletics Team members!

Last Monday, twenty Bowen State School students went to Proserpine State School to compete in the Whitsunday Athletics Trials against Proserpine and Collinsville Districts. All students did a great job and eight students met the qualifying standard to move on to North Queensland Trials on Monday June 17^th in Townsville. Good luck to Rebecca Daniel, DeVante Watego, Megan Anau, Samuel Adams, Rashawn Watego, Emma Samuels, Edie Jackson and Denan Lavaring.

Congratulations to Mia Martin for being successful in making the North Queensland Softball team over the weekend. Mia will be training to compete for North Queensland at the end of August in Cairns. Best of Luck Mia!
