Classroom Learning
5/6c
This term, 5/6C are completing a 20 day kindness challenge. One of our tasks was to write a letter to Mr Evans to tell him what we love about Bowen State School. Below are some of our favourite things.
- Our school is amazing, one of my favourite things about this school are our interactions with other classes. Our tuckshop food is also delicious.
- Mr Jorgensen does an amazing job as our school groundsman. He keeps our school beautiful.
- We always have fun at our Friday sport afternoons.
- Thank you for letting the year 6 students sit on chairs during parade.
- My favourite part is Friday afternoon sport, it is amazing how all the classes come together and play a very competitive game. We also have fun at the same time.
- Our teachers are the best.
- Mr Evans, you have done so much for Bowen state school. Thank you!
4/5c
Since the beginning of Term we have been reading the novel Holes by Louis Sachar. Once we have completed the novel we will be watching the movie and making comparisons. 4/5C are thoroughly engaged in the novel and eager to discover the mysteries of Camp Green Lake. This novel takes us on an emotional journey of heartache, buried treasure and redemption.
3c
This term we have been off to a great start! In Maths we are learning more about multiplication, division and fractions. In English we have written a narrative that is based on the storyline in The Lorax. Next week we will present these narratives to our classmates.
3C is also very excited to practice our joined handwriting this term.
