Farewell to Rainer Power our Community Education Counsellor 

It is with a heavy heart that we bid Rainer farewell on his new journey outside of life at Bowen State School this coming Monday. Rainer has been a pivotal part of our school community specifically the Student Support Team (SST). Over the past few years Rainer in his role has supported children, staff, families and the wider community to achieve more successful outcomes for our students. His strength has been building strong positive relationships, leading by example, having high expectations for behaviour and learning. We thank Rainer for all his contributions and specifically for his leadership in increasing awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives. We wish you all the best Rainer and look forward to seeing you and your family around Bowen.
