The sporting calendar has been set and is looking very promising this year.

To get the ball rolling, students who are 10 (or turning 10), 11 or 12 will be able to sign up for Cross Country, Rugby League and Soccer in the coming weeks.
School trials will begin during lunch times and students will be notified by the coach for individual sports. Successful students will then head onto the Bowen          Sub-District Trials. If your child is selected to attend trials more information will be provided.

Upcoming Bowen Sub-District trials are as follows:
Netball- Monday, March 2nd 2020
Rugby League- Monday, March 2nd 2020
Soccer- Monday, March 23rd 2020
Softball- Monday, March 30th 2020

If your child is interested in taking part any of these sporting events please have them visit Miss. Horvath for training times and/or permission forms.

Cross Country Training

Bowen State School will start Cross Country training before school in preparation for our Inter-house Cross Country trials to be held on Thursday, April 2nd 2020. More information will be sent home for those interested closer to the date.
