Year Level Curriculum Maps were shared at the parent information sessions. These give an outline of the content that will be covered during Term 1. At Bowen State School, we encourage the development of the whole child in academic, sporting and cultural avenues. Throughout the year, we offer numerous opportunities to support and enhance learning experiences for your children including:
• Year level excursions & camps
• Weekly sporting rotation
• ICAS competitions
• On-Line Learning & STEM activities
• Arts Council performances
• Environmental programs.
We also know how important it is for our kids to feel good about themselves, to have friends and be engaged in their learning at school. We have allocated time each week to discuss these important skills during our PBL and Social Emotional Lessons.
