Pick of the Crop

Exciting things have been happening at Bowen State School for the Pick of the Crop program. With the help of many students, Mr Payne, Mr Jorgensen and Mr Aitken begin cleaning the site for the school's vegetable garden that will be completed in early 2021 - just in time for the planting season.

Bowen State School is partnering with Health & Wellbeing Queensland for the Pick of the Crop program which endeavours to increase the intake of fruits and vegetables in students. As we head into the holiday season I wish all the families of Bowen State School a Happy, Healthy and Safe Holiday Season and I can not wait to keep 'making healthy happen' with you all next year.
