Curriculum News
Classrooms have been very busy with students learning about new routines, transitions and expectations. They have settled into their new classes and are engaging with the Australian Curriculum. Students are given opportunities to demonstrate knowledge, understanding and skills in each of the following key learning areas.
Year Level Curriculum Maps have been sent home, these give an outline of the content covered during Term 1. At Bowen State School, we encourage the development of the whole child in academic, sporting and cultural avenues. Throughout the year, we offer numerous opportunities to support and enhance learning experiences. We also know how important it is for our kids to feel good about themselves, to have friends and be engaged in their learning at school. We have allocated time each week to discuss these important skills during our PBL Lessons.
