1 W/P
1W/P really enjoyed themselves at Under 8s last Friday. We would like to thank Mr Fisher, Mrs Forrester, Mr and Mrs O’Brien and Mrs Maskey for helping to supervise us at QBSS. We had lots of fun!!!2 M/G
Lately, 2MG have been busy learning all about animals to compare their similarities and differences. We are loving our classroom pet, ‘Reggie the Red claw’ and are trying our hand at growing vegetables and flowers. Each week we observe how our red claw and plants are developing and changing.
Time and money have been our main focus these past few weeks during math. The class are improving at converting analogue to digital time and vice versa, as well as counting collections of coins and finding the correct coins and notes to buy an item.
Last week’s ‘Big Day Out’ was a massive hit with Year 2MG and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is what some students had to say after we returned to school;
“Dear Queens Beach, thank you for Big Day Out. My favourite part was face paint because the people who did it are very good painters.”
“Dear Queens Beach, my favourite thing was face paint but my most favourite part was going on the fire truck.”
“Dear Queens Beach, thank you for Big Day Out. My favourite part was everything because it was awesome and great!”
