PJ

This term, the students in Prep J have been busy working on their writing. Students have been working hard to achieve their personal goals to become better writers.

In Maths we have been counting to and from 20 and making groups of objects and deciding which has more and which has less. We have also been learning about 3D objects and their characteristics. Students in Prep J created 3D objects using playdoh and paddle pop sticks and also created castles using 3D objects.

2 D/G

This term, 2DG have been learning about Media Arts. Students have listened to sounds and analysed the sounds. They have viewed videos and analysed how the images help them understand a story. The students then created their own PowerPoint presentations. They inserted their own animal picture of a wombat or turtle onto a slide then recorded and inserted their own sound to match their chosen animal. They had a lot of fun learning how to add slides, choose a background colour and add text. Next, students will be presenting their PowerPoint to the class.
