Report Cards
Report Cards for Semester 1 will be emailed to all families on Friday 16th July. Over a semester, students complete a variety of assessment tasks demonstrating their knowledge and skills and are allocated an achievement mark based on year level achievement standards. Your child’s report will contain the achievement level for each learning area, a general comment and behaviour comment.
Planning Week
Next week is Planning Week, with year level teachers meeting to organise Term 3 curriculum delivery. One focus is the alignment of the teaching and learning with assessment and reporting. Teachers discuss the assessment tasks and the knowledge and skills that the students will need to be successful with the task. Time will be spent identifying the literacy demands of tasks and differentiation. Differentiation means tailoring teaching to meet our students’ individual needs. Teachers can differentiate the content, process, products, or the learning environment.
