Students in 5J have had a busy start to the term. For our English unit, we analysed the lyrical poem ‘Uluru’ by Eva Johnson. Students enjoyed learning about the history and significance of Uluru to the Australian Indigenous Culture. We consolidated our learning with some artwork of the sacred place.

This semester Year 2 students are exploring technology changes over time. As part of their learning experiences, students attended the Bowen Historical Museum and learnt about some of objects people used in the past as well as some of Bowen's history.
