An awesome day of rugby league in Townsville today as our Bowen State school team competed in the Bill Nettle Gala Day. This group of boys and girls have worked really hard to come together as a great team over the last month. This showed today as they played some great footy, recording 2 great wins. In a must win final game, a last minute try saw us narrowly missing the final.

A huge thank you to Mr Mitchell for all his hard work with the team and teaching the kids and Mr Dunn a lot about Rugby League. Also a big thank you to Mrs Gordon in the office who worked hard behind the scenes to make the day possible! Lincoln’s Mum and Dad- thank you to both of you for being trainer and running water.
