This term 3B are learning about adapting and writing poetry. We have adapted the well known poem 'My Country' and have written poems about the Front Beach and our classroom. Students have written some excellent poems with great examples of imagery. 

Also this term we have been learning about heat in science. We conducted an experient investigating the transfer of heat from a hot bowl of porridge. Earlier in the term we also conducted an experiement investigating the heat transfer of a plastic and metal spoon. It was discovered that the metal spoon conducted the heat. Stduents have decided they will use plastic or wooden spoons when cooking in the future.
