Positive Behaviour for Learning
Welcome to 2023! For the first few weeks of the year we have reviewed all four of our school's values: respectful, responsible, safe and a learner.
Our new value for the next three weeks is being respectful, with a focus on 'respecting the rights of others to learn'. Students will be discussing in their classrooms ways in which they can demonstrate this at school and why it is important. They will also be awarded double GOTCHAs when displaying this value. Be sure to talk with your child at home the ways in which they can be respectful.
In Week 6, we will be having our first Pop-Up Celebrations. Prep to Year 4 will have their celebration on Tuesday.
Prep to Year 1 will be able play in the rocket/spider playground with music pumping.
Year 2, 3 and 4s will be able to play in the Prep/Year1 playground with music pumping, have a game of red rover and BUBBLES!
Year 5 and 6 will be able to bring an electronic device (e.g. iPad, Gameboy, Nintendo... no Phones or Playstations/XBOX etc.). For this, students will be required to hand devices to their teacher at the start of the day and will be issued them for the lunch reward, then hand them back to be collected at the end of the day. Each device will need to be clearly labelled.
Only students who have traded in four gold GOTCHAs will be able to participate.
