Welcome to Term 2!
We hope you had an amazing holidays and are ready for a great term of positive behaviour.
Before I discuss our new behaviour focus, I would like to highlight some of the other reward celebrations that were held at the end of last term.
Preps enjoyed an obstacle course, Year 5 enjoyed some Just Dance and outdoor games, and Year 3 enjoyed a nice relaxing movie.
Well done to everyone who enjoyed celebrating their excellent behaviour last term!
Now to our new behaviour focus. The first week of this term was all about being RESPECTFUL and showing empathy towards others by understanding their feelings and needs. This week we have focused on being SAFE and solving conflicts fairly. Next week, all classes will be reviewing our four school values and revising individual class rules/expectations/consequences that were established at the beginning of the year.
As the year progresses, it is important for us all to review and re-establish clear expectations and goals for our students/children to work towards, so that they are always engaged and invested in the value of the positive behaviour they are focusing on.
