Prep 1/L have been exploring all things that are 2D shapes and 3D objects. We started our learning journey looking at the difference between 3D objects and 2D shapes and what we could find around our environment. We spent time looking at what features both 2D shapes and 3D objects have. Did you know that 3D objects had 2D shape faces? Well, our Year 1s spent some time stamping 3D objects to find the 2D faces. Once we learned all about shapes and their features, we celebrated with making our very own 2D shape monsters.
