This term I have been running the Petite Sisterhood and Lil Bros program for Prep D students (with consent). This week we talked about the difference between “cotton” words and “sandpaper” words. 

Words are powerful and it’s important that our children understand that they have control over their words. It is my hope that our children choose to use kind words to build people up and “fill their buckets”. 

Kind words cost nothing.

I will be running these programs in Term 3 with students from Prep R. Consent forms will be sent home in Week 7.
