Our leadership program PCYC re Engagement Program (PREP) boys finished their final session with a celebration at Le Sorelle coffee house this past week. We reflected, as a team, on the program and skills that we have gained or reinforced.  The overall theme that was strong amongst our team was: acceptance, resilience, team work and strong communication.  We finished the program with unity as a strong team of diverse students who now identify as one group.  

We were lucky enough to continue our connection with Sergeant Michelle O'Regan and form new connections with Tania, owner of Le Sorelle and manager, Meagan, as well as with the military training officers in Bowen, as part of Talisman Sabre united armed forces exercise.  

The boys represented our school with pride and were recognised as leaders. The boys enjoyed a meal with the team and were gifted badges from different battalions, and house made fudge from the Le Sorelle team. 

We look forward to continuing this community connection whilst gaining leadership skills as we move on in the Year 5 girls space in the weeks to come.
