Students in 5M have been working collaboratively to design and build a bridge as part of the Design and Technology unit this term. Students were tasked to work in a small group to create a bridge that spans a gap of 50cm and supports the weight of a moving toy car. Due to the strength of many students’ bridges the class decided to see not only how many toy cars the bridges could hold, but how many water bottles and heavy books it could hold before collapse. Students did an amazing job!
