Head of Department - Engagement
We all know how important sleep is for our children, but sometimes it can be challenging to ensure they get enough. It is crucial to prioritise sleep because it plays a key role in your child's physical health, mental well-being, and academic success. A good night's sleep helps children concentrate better in class, improves their memory, and boosts their overall mood. Children aged between 5 and 12 years old are recommended to get 9 to 12 hours of sleep per night. Establishing a bedtime routine and limiting screen time before bed can greatly help in ensuring our children get the rest they need to thrive. Let's work together to prioritise sleep and set our children up for success. If you require assistance in developing a bedtime routine, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of the Student Support Team (SST), Chappy Sandy, or myself. We are here to support you.
Cheers,
